Mogadishu (Alshahid) – Somalia ’s insurgent group Hizbul Islam said it learned government forces are prepared to wage military offensive against Islamist groups following noticeable troop movements in several key points of the capital.

“We know they have deployed reinforcements in many parts of the city and we are prepared to repulse any aggression “Said.Mohamed Osman Arus, Hizbul Islam spokesman

“They will not be able to commit aggression because strongly respond to any aggression” he added.

Meanwhile Hizbul Islam leaders in Beledweyn called residents in Beledweyn to help them defeat pro-government fighters Ahlu Sunna Wal Jama who have been waging aggressive campaign to prevent Hizbul and Shabab from taking power in Somalia .

They also called residents to help security forces fight organized crimes.

Somali government spokesman Abdirisak Qeylow said plans to restore peace and stability in the capital are underway without giving details.

“The government reserves the right to restore peace and security and will consult that with nobody”.

Somali government troops have been deployed in the main industrial road and other importrant positions ,a move that triggered fears that clashes between the government insurgents may start any time.
