Police arrests suspects in Galkayo

Galkayo (Alshahid) Security forces in Galkayo arrested several people on Saturday night in connection with the escalating insecurity in key towns of Puntland.

Security forces foiled a landmine that had been planted in a street in Garsoor neighborhood after conducting security operations.

Police commander, Muse Hassassi told reporters that they would continue their operation until security is fully brought restored.

The arrested people include two civilians who were arrest near the site of the planted landmine.

The police did not give the exact number of the arrests made so far but said the innocent would be released after interrogation.
