Djibouti (Alshahid) – About 500 troops from Somali transitional federal government have completed military training in Djibouti, the capital of Djibouti, officials said on Thursday.
The training that took months was conducted by Djibouti National Army in conjunction with French Forces came to an end on Thursday morning in a ceremony that was attended by many dignitaries notably Dileyte Mohamed Dileyte, the prime minister of Djibouti, the deputy chief of army of the TFG and Abdirahman Mohamed Hirabe, an official from the Somali embassy in Djibouti
Reports say that the Djiboutian national army and French forces had concluded the military training for the transitional government troops which continued for months in Djibouti especially the high Academic of Al-haji Hassan, a military centre in Djibouti which named the former Djiboutian president Al-haji.
There had been more officials including Djiboutian and Somalis like Dileyte Mohamed Dileyte, the prime minister of Djibouti, the deputy chief of army of the TFG and Abdirahman Mohamed Hirabe, an official from the Somali embassy in Djibouti who were all present at the ceremony where the training completed for the Somali soldiers.
Reports from Djibouti say that the UN was playing an important role in rebuilding the security forces of the transitional federal government which it had already established.
The troops are expected to go to back to their home country soon
