Mogadishu(Alshahid)- In a show of unity of purpose in the Somalia’s Transition Federal Government (TFG), the President, the Prime Minister and the Speaker of the House have on Friday released a joint press statement meant to tackle the prolonged differences between the Somali legislators and the parliament speaker.

The three senior most officials in the TFG have agreed to handle all differences in the governing system according to the constitution of the state.

The Press release from the office of the President was read by TFG’s Information Minister Dahir Mohamoud Gelle on behalf of the three government leaders.

The statement expressed satisfaction with the role of the government of Djibouti in helping to resolve the wrangles between the speaker and members of Parliament.

A section of Somali parliamentarians are claiming that the legitimate period of the house speaker has expired and he should not chair sessions in the national assembly
