The TFG and Puntland sign an agreement in Nairobi.

Nairobi (Alshahid) – The defense minister of the TFG; Abdalla Boos and the interior minister of Puntland state of Somalia; Gen Abdullahi Ahmed(Ilka Jiir) have on Monday signed an agreement on several things in Nairobi.

The agreement which was witnessed by the president of Puntland; Abdirahman Farole, the deputy premier of the TFG Sharif Hassan, UN special envoy to Somalia; Ahmadou Oulad Abdalla and several European diplomats was on how the TFG and Puntland will cooperate on the security of Somalia.

The agreement was specially touching the fight against piracy and how to curb it.

Abdalla Boos; TFG’s defense minister who talked to the reporters after the signing of the agreement said that the important part of the agreement is on how to peacefully end the vice of piracy which he said constrained the continents economy.

Puntland which is the home to many of the pirate groups was on several occasions accused of helping the pirates.
