Somali Violence: Government and Alshabab both claim victors
Mogadishu (Alshahid) – Transitional Federal Government of Somalia and the rebel group of Alshabab have both Saturday claimed victory yesterday’s fight in Mogadishu that claimed 13 lives and wounded 25 others.
Somalia’s Minister for Defence, Yusuf Mohamed Siad (Inda’adde) said that they lost a soldier in the fight.
Alshabab attacked military base at Hodan, but T.F.G soldiers fought back and went ahead and captured more areas, said the Minister.
On the hand, Alshabab were also quick to claim victory and added that they had seized parts of Hodan Town.
