Islamist leader calls for fresh fighting against AMISOM.

somali-leaderMogadishu (Alshahid) – Sheik Hassan Dahir Aweys, the Islamist leader of Hizbul Islam organization on Saturday called for fresh attacks on African Union troops citing that they are part of the increasing problems.

Speaking on Saturday, Sheik Aweys said to the Islamist fighter’s war against foreigners would be inevitable signalling out that AMISOM troops were part of the continuing problems in Somalia. “The people can reach peace and progress if they fight against the foreign troops in Somalia. The Somali people can return their prestige and honour after 20 years of conflicts and political deadlock,” said the Islamist leader.

This comes amid intense fighting between different warring groups in the Somali capital Mogadishu

    it is better to fight african union troops but the question is who is the african unon troops .
    we know the african union troops and their possesions isnstead of to attack AMISOM you are attacking your people your children and ather question so to return our prestage and honor after 20 years of conflicts and political deadlock in which way way you have decided to fight AMISOM .
    I think the question is easy for you , you have reached adecession to fight AMISOM in side the civil peapole

    I think fighting against AMISOM in Mogadishu is like a shooting an insect on a horse, but the question is, how can rational individual massacre the innocents amid the enemy (as he put it) because the hope of the Somali people is water on a ducks back because of this deplorable and abominable actions.
