Mogadishu (Alshahid) – Unidentified gunmen have killed a police officer in Qardho town in Puntland, witness said on Monday.

The late police officer, Mr.Abdiaziz Osman Farah, was shot dead overnight by gunmen armed with pistols and fled immediately.

Police secured and sealed crime scene. In addition, they have launched investigation and ordered the businesses of the town to be closed

There is growing tension over insecurity in Puntland as killing of government officials is increasing by day.
