French navy captures 12 pirates off Somalia.

caught pirate.french navyParis (Alshahid ) – The French Defense Ministry said in a statement Friday that the Floreal surveillance boat, backed by a Luxembourg maritime surveillance plane, intercepted a pirate ship and two skiffs 650 nautical miles (about 750 statute miles) east of Hobyo, Somalia.

The French sailors also seized assault rifles, rocket launchers and other weaponry during Thursday’s operation which was part of the EU anti-piracy mission in the region. The Defense Ministry says the Luxembourg plane alerted the French to the suspicious boats Wednesday and the French ship was given orders to pursue them.

    I appreciate the state of affairs in the neighbouring country Somali.I feel the pain of my brothers up there but i’m also very concerned about the implications of the Somalis political instability and small weaponery prolification on my beloved country Kenya.Have yopu ever sat back and thought where thesse pirates spend their ransoms?Have you ever thought of the implications of such monies in an economy such as Kenya? There you are! All this monies are being spend here in Kenya.
    Economics have already proved that ibn a cvase where we have more willing buyers with ready money,the demand for goods go up and the prices go through the roof:thats is exactly what is happening in Nairobi.
    Land which would have been bought by a young Kenyan graduate after four years of serious savings is being bought by a Somali who has contravened the rights of an innocent traveler or even a state.
    My Somali brothers,I love you with the love of Allah the most high;Please think of the damange youare putting us through.We wont through you out;but your future generations will pay dearly for your mess.Lets live together and unite to create the nation we want to live,die and get burried in.
