Mogadishu (Alshahid) – Clan elders, religious leaders and elite members from middle Shabelle held a joint meeting with Alshabaab to help curb the escalating security problems in the region.

Senior Alshabaab Officials were also in attendance in Ceelcaraf since they control the area

The two groups reached consensus and vowed to end hostility amongst them.Inaddition, they agreed to listen and punish criminals together in accordance with the Islamic Sharia.

Some of the elders suggested that those who kill should also be killed while militias to caught and prosecuted.
